A massive 2.0 update for Pokémon Pokopia is now live, introducing deep-sea exploration, underwater housing, and a long list of gameplay enhancements and bug fixes.

The headline addition to the free update is the new Dive HM ability, allowing players to explore beneath the ocean waves, meet new Water-type Pokémon, and build homes directly within deep-sea biomes. Players can also explore new mysteries in the Bubbly Basin area and take advantage of new customization features, including five new hair colors, the Dynamic Ditto Print pattern, and fresh emotes.

The patch also resolves numerous bugs, including multiplayer build locks, pathfinding glitches for Water-type Pokémon, and camera clipping issues across island biomes.

Omega Force, Game Freak confirmed that the game is being built for Nintendo Switch 2, with improved visuals, new mechanics, and environments designed around the storybook theme.
